In commemoration of Gapjin Year, the Year of the Blue Dragon, a total of 33 works by Soseon Seo Young-seok were exhibited with the theme of the blue dragon.
The exhibition name is “Dragon, Dragon Narsha” and the exhibition period is from January 15th to 28th, 2024.
Yoon Gallery, a popular space in Insa-dong, and a painter with 40 years of experience have teamed up. Artist Soseon Seo Young-seok studied Western painting at Hongik University, but he focused on the Goguryeo tomb murals, which were the places where our people had the greatest spirit.
The work in this exhibition is a relief work using layered Korean paper, depicting a dragon ascending to heaven with a golden Yeouiju in its mouth and clouds in a three-dimensional and lively manner on a background of five cardinal colors.
“This is an exhibition that conveys a vibrant start to 2024, receiving the energy of the dragon ascending to heaven in the Year of the Blue Dragon,” he said. “To share the opportunity to enjoy culture and art with many people, all works in this exhibition are sold for 300,000 won.” .
