Bongdari-gun's Search for Small Happiness<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Artist Park Young-mi, who has taken up the brush again while balancing parenting and creative pursuits, has captured joy and solace in the small moments of everyday life. The protagonist of this exhibition, "Bongdari-gun," was inspired by a black bag that suddenly occurred to her while drawing a black cat. The name "Bongdari-gun" was created by adding a human touch to the dialect word for "bag," "Bongdari."<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The author says:
\u201cI decided to call anything that brings me joy and laughter, even if it\u2019s not something grand, something that is deeply meaningful to me, \u2018happiness.\u2019\u201d
That affectionate gaze seeps into the Bongdari group and the small scenery in the painting, quietly soothing the viewer's heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This exhibition, offering a moment of respite like a cool shade on a hot summer day, will bring a gentle smile and a sense of peace to visitors. We hope it will provide an opportunity to pause from the complexities of everyday life and reflect on the "small joys" found in the artist's life.
Additionally, during the exhibition, a special drawing event will be held, where the artist will delicately draw a visitor's pet cat. Upon request, the artist will capture the image of your beloved feline in sketch or gouache, providing a unique opportunity to capture another joy in the form of art.
