The number of tea people in Korea exceeds 5 million. It has been on the rise recently. Even if you don't drink alcohol, if you talk about tea with someone you've just met, any awkwardness will quickly disappear.

Many families set up a simple tea room in the living room and use it as a place for conversation between family members. Some people set up a separate tea room in their home to deepen human interaction with invited guests. The paintings and calligraphy hanging in the tea room help us gauge the taste of the owner and naturally become a medium for conversation. There is an increasing number of people, especially those who enjoy tea, hanging tea paintings in their tea rooms and enjoying the atmosphere. Experts say that this is a sign that Dahwa is establishing itself as a new ‘literary painting’ of this era.

A multi-art exhibition is being held at a commercial gallery in Insa-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul. It's unusual. Artist Song Yeong-bang (until the 11th), who has drawn Korean-style tea paintings with stories, and Lee Seong-ju (13-20 days), who has drawn Western-style tea paintings, and Dain in the ‘Three Artists, 3 Colors, Colorful Tea Painting Exhibition’ organized by Yoon Gallery. The work of Monk Suan (23rd to 30th), who is well-known among the public for his popular tea paintings, was submitted.
